From 1996 to 2000 Matthew and Aline Shulman published The Lansing Community News. When their paper stopped publishing many people felt it was like their connection to the community had a hole in it. When we decided to publish The Lansing Star Online. We called the Shulmans for advice, which they generously gave us.
